I just checked the sites. This is unfair. gordon is pretty lucky. A lot that saw the film last night feel different than Nascar. In my way of thinking it's cheating

This just proves that NASCAR should have the pads numbered to ID the car.But even then that could be cheated on by a driver having another drivers number on it and this piece stuffed under the seat. But remember earlier this year a driver thru a glove out of his car(a chase contendor got the luckie dog that time) and all NASCAR did was tell him not to do it again.
The color of the pad,the quaility of the film,I will not say because I don't know.

I think that Robby Gordon did throw that roll bar padding onto the track to bring out that caution so he could get the lucky dog and get back on the lead lap. You could tell by his face when they interviewed him after the race that he was guilty!!

I agree with Jeff Burton when he said that whoever did that should be docked major points and be forced to sit out a number of races. That was flat out cheating.

"We were going to be OK and then they threw a caution because of a roll bar pad,'' Burton said. "NASCAR should stop every car on pit road and check for roll bar pads and whoever threw their's out should be fined 185 points and $100,000 because it was a huge impact on the race. ... It is starting to happen just too often and NASCAR gets on everybody when it happens. Well, they should find out who did it and penalize them.''

The roll bar pad appeared to come from 10th-place finisher Robby Gordon's car, NBC video showed.

"I definitely did not throw anything out of the window,'' Gordon told NBC after the race.

NASCAR did not penalize Gordon, citing the video was inconclusive.

if he did, he would be only the latest in a long line of drivers who have- including dale earnhardt sr. if it were stewart or harvick, everybody'd be saying what a cool move it was. as for who did it,lots of people had more motivation than gordon. i do feel bad for burton though. nascar just needs to make a rule & enforce it. championships should not be decided by crap like this

That sounds like something Rob Gordon would do.........anything to piss people off....that's the robbie gordon style...what a sad little man he is..........

it must be frustrating to never win at anything Nascar....he should just go and play in the sandbox with his dune buggy.

I thought he looked like he was trying to hide something when they interviewed him after the race. I cant stand him. I know this is off topic but just to show what a prick he is when my son was 2 (now 9) we were at a race and he went to ask for his autograph and he passed him up to autograph these girls with enormous boobs my son was crushed ever since then I couldn't stand him.

nascar needs to park his sorry butt for 39 races.(the 3 remaining and all of next year). he is an A** anyhow, and a lousy driver. park him then let him whine.
