Rush didn't mock MJF's condition. Rush pointed out that MJF was making it appear more severe to procure sympathy.

Rush disagreed with MJF's manipulation of his audience by taking too much medication which increased his tremors. Rush pointed out that MJF's assertion that Jim Talent was against stem cell research was FALSE. (Jim Talent supports ADULT stem cell research, not EMBRYONIC. Embryonic stem cells have been an utter failure; it is highly unethical to use embryos as spare parts.)

As a Republican, I'd say Rush does far more harm to our party than good. As some others have mentioned, years ago Rush stated on many occasions that he believes drug abusers should be locked up in jail and throw away the key.

In recent years, we find that he's been abusing Vicodin and Oxycodone. Abuse of these drugs, especially Vicodin and other pain medication can seriously degrade sense of hearing. This is why, justifiably, that Democrats are calling Rush a hippocrite.

whether that is real that Michael J. Fox went off his meds for the advert, it would not shrink the severity of his ailment or the importance of his message. My father suffers from Parkinson's ailment, and in spite of drugs he has concern walking, conversing, and appearing different projects. What Michael J. Fox provided replace into not sensationalized in any way; it replace into the bleak actuality of his subject, a topic that is affecting a extensive style of people worldwide. Stem cellular learn is the main promising wish for an efficient therapy, and egocentric, self-righteous, pompous bastards like Rush Limbaugh have no appropriate to criticize except they have suffered from it themselves and be attentive to the misery of residing with the ailment every day. I in actual fact wish Rush gets a severe case and has to consume his words.

Rush is a recovering drug addict hypocrite. He openly berated others for using drugs while he himself was using them. You are right, he wasn't mocking MJF but he was speaking with misinformation. In his rush to belittle the cause of stem cell research he attacked a likable guy who is in a more advanced stage than Rush realized. Yes MJF said that he was temporarily off his meds but the point is the meds only help with his shakes... They will not cure him from Parkinson's. Scientists believe that working with stem cell research might cure a variety of diseases including Parkinson's Disease.

Additionally, drug abuse was Rush's choice... Michael J Fox had no choice!

MJF did something? There was a speech or something, you say? Michael J. Who?

Perhaps it just depends on who lives in the larger glass house?

Greetings!

Liberals do not mock Rush because of his drug and hearing problems. They mock him because he is a very small man.
Not a very nice man. You know the kind that is easy to make fun of.
Especially when he refers to his drug problem as a sickness. Oh sorry it only appears like its a drug problem. Yea ask the maid.

The man is a fool.

Good Luck

If that wasn't mocking, I don't know what is. I would have kicked his ash. You can't take what a few liberals say and throw us all into one neat little box and place blame. I promise you I wont blame you for the ridiculous things that idiot Rush says.

One has nothing to do with the other. The issue with his illegal drug use was hypocrisy. The issue with Fox is Rush's total lack of character.

Rush DID mock Fox's condition. I saw him rocking back and forth and flailing his arms. That is a (mis)representation of a condition!
People mock Rush's drug addiction because he is pompous and judges everyone, including people with drug addictions. It served him right to have it turned back to him.

Later: I HAVE answered your question. ( I dont know he is hard of hearing)

Simple: Because Liberals are biased, as are Conservatives. It's called politics, a symptom of a free society. It gets nasty at times, but that's the name of the game.
