Training for Children and Play...ideas appreciated?

Hello, I am a child care provider in NY. I run a child care provider support group that provides training. I am putting together a training on the importance of child play and was looking forward to more ideas to put into the workshop. If anyone has any ideas, or if you have done a training like this one, I would love more input. Thanks

Gross motor activities: running, jumping, skipping rope, balancing, climbing etc all develop neural (brain)development necessary for kids later on who need to sit in a chair, know where their bodies are in space and develop good coordination. All that play activity really is organizing pathways to help the kids focus.
Fine motor skills: handling small pieces of games, cards, dice etc. are skills which coordinate small fingers to work together to perform delicate tasks later translating to proper pencil grip and handwriting and developed eye/hand coordination.
Songs and games which include music or rhyming lyrics help develop ear/listening kills and all games teach turn taking, patience and good sportsmanship which translates to getting along with others in a work environment.
