Oh yes! Physical and Emotional Stress can cause it to do really weird things.
If you are concerned, see a doctor. But I would wait a couple of months to see if things straighten out, IF you are not experiencing any other symptoms.

Absolutely. Or the abrupt release of stress (finding out that you got into college, that a sick friend will recover). Or just the normal fluctuations of your body. You might have a longer period this month, since your primary hormonal surges are probably still in order to start menstruating in a week.

So your period has been coming on the same day since you started???? Cause mine switch up like it will come on the same day for months and then change and go for months on that same day and change.
I never heard of it coming early because of stress maybe it's just time for a change.

Sure it could. Stress, changes in your diet or activity levels... so many things could cause it, including pregnancy (sometimes a bit of spotting a little early then no reg. period)... I'm no doc. but I'd wait until next month and see how you are then, if u don't go back to normal or expeience heavier cramping than you are used to, I'd go see a doc.

stress can do all sorts of crazy things.
also, are you on birth control? I'm on a 28 day system, and if I miss my pill by more than say, six hours, it kicks into menstruation mode within a day or so, because my body thinks I'm on the pretend-pill week. Especially if its within the third week of pills, when the endometrium is being formed.
sorry if thats too much info! :-) hope it helps

Stress sometimes can cause you to do that. I once had no period for a month, I wasn't pregnant, and I got extremely heavy one next month.

everyone's cycle is not the same. If you're usually regular, and it 's now different, it could be caused by stress or diet or even too much exercise.

If someone has had their tubes tied they shouldn't have a period any more...they should see a doctor to see what's up. It's nothing to panic about but it does need to be checked

yes stress is a big factor, it can cause changes in our hormones...some times hormons just get goofed up on their own as things in our life change and things are going on and we get buissy and stressed or really upset or angry or depressed. emotions can affect all of these things.
