While I was growing up, I wondered why my Mom cried at movies. My Dad use to make fun of her. She would see the same ones and my Dad would know when she would cry and start sniffing to make fun of her. I never understood it. As I get older, oh my! Do I ever. I understand more than I ever thought. I cry at commercials, music that has a certain connection, that reminds me of my mother now that she is gone. I never showed my emotions before. Now It is so much harder not to let them go. It is a lot healthier to let them out, even if it is just over a sad or happy movie. I think it is about experiences in life and putting yourself in that place. Sometimes it is just a tearing up, sometimes it is a little cry, sometimes, it is more.

Depends on the movie and how intense a sad scene is. I've cried during extremely traumatizing movies about atrocities committed in the past (Schindler's List, The Pianist). I also cried during The Notebook and Click. Most of the time, though, I don't cry.

Yes, especially when I watch the movie Titanic. I cry at the end EVERY time...it never fails.

no not all but some make me cry silently .. like the movie titanic at the end .. what a tear jerker it was ..
