Stephen Harper or George W. Bush?

Stephen Harper is the Canadian Conservative Prime Minister. And it was just a question, people, don't get insulting!!!

While I don't vote for him (I lean more to the left), I have a lot more respect for Stephen Harper.
George Bush didn' make me feel very good even when he was running for office.
I did not like the way he "won" his first election.
I have found his attitude to Afghanistan-Iraq suspicious to say the least.
He certainly seems to have lied to the American people, whether consciously or not, in order to be able to send soldiers to die in Iraq.
I can not respect him as leader of his country, I can't respect the moral character he seems to be displaying, I can't respect his choice of men to surround himself with (Gonzalez, Rumsfeld).
So while I may be misjudging his personal character, from what I have seen I can't respect his leadership. I do respect Stephen Harper - perhaps in a few years it will be a different story, but I would like to believe he will turn out to be a decent man even if he has what I feel are wrong-headed politics.

LOL shows what some people know about other countries. I think that Harper can be seen as a George W. Bush wannabe but he is certainly not as bad as he is. Harper at least does try to listen to what his people want.
