it is too much materials.
you have to narrow your info.
geographic area, population, or kind of army.
the moment you decide it - you can search it by search engine, wikipedia and books.
but till than - it is too much- and to school of course.
i don't believe that there is one site for the whole war.
there are many good sites - for the various aspects of it.
and after that - i can help you.
but i am sure you will not need it after your decision...

~You can't be serious. First, I suggest you narrow your search to something a little less general that isn't going to give you hundreds of thousands of hits, then use any on-line search engine or, god forbid, go to the library (just ask one of the nerds what and where a "library" is) and look at one or two of those things collecting dust on the shelves called books or reference resources. Duh.
