Loved it or Hated it?

I hated the ghouls/monsters until the end and I was like "wow"! I loved it.

Not only did i loved it, I own the dvd. What attracted me to this movie is the adult characters in the movie who did what they did to maintain and create a "peaceful" society. I grew up on the East coast where my mom used to take us every year to Amish village tours, so I was always fascinated by that kind of life. Either you love Shyamalan or you hate him. I happen to like his movies....

At first I was really confused. Then I thought it was stupid when I saw the "monsters." I am not into sci-fi type movies so I didn't like that part at all. But I stuck with it and then I was really happy with the entire plot in the end. After I found out they were just costumes it wasn't so stupid. I liked the whole idea of keeping them isolated from this crazy world we live in.

It wasn't the worst of M Knight Shyalaman's movies. It was kind of a bright spot between Signs and Lady in the Water. 3rd best out of the (roughly) 5 films he's made.

Loved it. I love M. Night Shamalan's movies. Bryce Dallas Howard did a fantastic job... Adrian Brody and Jacquin Pheonix did also.

I haven't seen Lady in the Water, so aside from that one, The Village was my favorite movie by him. I figured out a good bit of it, but I still liked it. It made you think, which most movies don't. :)

I am one of the few who loved it. I just thought it was different than most movies out there...which is why I liked it.

i loved it.. i had expected it to be a scary movie, which is why i went to see it, but even though it was more of a love story between Ivy and Luscius it was really wonderful with good twist to make it interesting.
