if unknown location of ex courthouse will advertise
divorce granted.

it's different in every state. some states make it easy enough for you to do it yourself, others don't. do a web search, just write divorce and the name of your state and see what comes up. some websites will try to sell you stuff right away, but others will give useful information. go to the public library and see what books they have on divorce.
