Corruption is in the heart of the people. And sometimes leaders inspire that corruption. Unity, as you seem to reference it here, seems too generalized to be feasible. Give us something to unite under. Something powerful. Morality seems to ebb and flow today, I'd advise you to spend the time you have in waiting for the next wave of morality to prepare yourself and be an example of the things you seem to strongly believe in.
