Do I dress like a grandma?

My friends say I dress like a grandma can you give me some examples what are grandma clothes and can you give me some tips to inpress my friends and make them stop calling me grandma.

Dude it's your style, if you like it than don't listen to what others think, you shouldn't care if anyone BUT yourself likes your style. You can always make fun of them jumping on the bandwagon every time a new "trend" comes out! Just be yourself and if you're thinking of getting new clothes than browse the mall, online, or even thrift stores and get what YOU like. :-D

Well I doubt you dress like a grandma. Grandma's usually wear polyester double knit pants suits and those bejeweled sweaters and track suits. Some grandma's wear metallic shoes and purses but not the 'in style' ones... the ones from the early to mid 80's. I hope that helps... and tell your friends if they really are your friend they will give you good advise instead of calling you names just to hurt your feelings. I've had "friends" like this. Grandma clothes are the ones where you don't show much skin and are loose (as already said). What I would advice is, wear whatever YOU like. Forget about what people say.

Although, if you want to change then I recommend outfits which suit your figure etc, like the ones that make you stand out.

It depends on what you look like really. Keep with the trends e.g. skinny jeans, tight tops, v necks etc

Well grandma clothes is like probaly saggy dresses. I really don't know because my grandma don't really dress like an old lady. But to impress your friends, go to footlocker and get a pair of Air Forces or some Jordans, get the latest ones that came out and get a real cute name brand out fit that match your shoes and then see what your friends call you. They probaly will be surprised. Get your hair done real cute too. WORK IT GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!

#1 Wear clothing that fits you. Fit is so important. Try things on and make sure they fit properly...not too baggy The fabrics shoudl skim over your body, not cling to it, or hang from it.

#2 Wear color! Black adn browns = boring. Mix your black and browns with pops of color. Accessories are a good way to start to do this...wear colorful shoes or carry a cool colored purse or scarf.

#3 Identify trends and classics. You should keep classics in your wardrobe - pants, cardigans, a-line skirts, trench coats, cashmere. But use trends to update your classic looks. Peruse the fashion mags for ideas. Lucky mag is great for inspiration on putting things that are on trend together with the classics you already own.

Grandmas wear twin sets and pearls and have blue or purple rinses on their hair. They wear aprons, wrinkly stockings, slippers and always have a large shopping bag as an accessory. Grandmas are cool. I think your friends are jealous!

invest in some nice black trousers and some heels(kitten heels are great) find a nice fancy tot try reds,pinks or blues and your friend wont have the chance to say anything but comliments.
or better still take your friends shopping if you trust their judgement they will give you some great advice.

i think they mean ur clothes may b too long or too loose i used to hear this too but not any more what u need is to know what realy look good on u colors brighten your face according to your color &best clothes 4 morning is nice t shirt &jeans try adding some accessories to your jeans ,bag ,shoes like colored buttons......or wear good quality accessories like rings,earings,.....good luck
