It's possible simply because, like every other method of birth control, the pill has a failure rate. However, it's very unlikely (about 1%.) Once you've been on it for the length of time stipulated in the packet insert (most say 7 days for Sunday starters, though many doctors will say a full month) you are protected regardless of what point in your cycle you're at.

If she neglected an afternoon or 2, you'll traditionally take the leisure of the capsules and capture up; nonetheless, per week isn't whatever with which I'd gamble. She's larger off simply taking a tablet an afternoon and sticking to that every day time table to get the whole thing operating how it will have to. Birth manipulate capsules require every day adherence to the time table to be strong. It's acquired to be facet of the activities... everyday at approximately the identical time. If that does not paintings, there are tons of choices - the patch, three month injections, and many others. - that do not require as so much every day attempt. If I have been you, I'd use condoms for the following month or 2. Birth manipulate capsules probably take a month or 2 to fairly come to be strong within the first situation. If the every day time table is not maintained, the frame realizes it is fertile once more and would possibly take a whilst to persuade that it isn't.

It is not impossible. No form of birth control is 100%. However, you are no more likely to get pregnant from unprotected sex during your placebo week than when you are taking the pills with hormones. Meaning, that whatever effectiveness your particular pill has (usually over 99%) is what you get... so no, it is VERY unlikely you are pregnant.

I'm not quite clear on what you're tryin to ask hun. Which type of pill is it and as long as you were taking them correctly then had the 7 day break (if thats the type of pill you're on) then you should be fine. You could always do a pregnancy test to put your mind at ease.
