Old little country, former part of Yugoslavia, just became independant from Serbia this summer (55% of "yes"). Their governement fled in exile during WW1 if I remember well. They use the euro currency, although not part of EU. They have an access to the Mediterranean sea. The current "king of Montenegro" (which has no more power) is a French architect.

They probably have between 500,000 and 1,000,000 inhabitants. It becomes to be known because of its high touristic potential (in the same way than Croatia some years ago), mixing Mediterranean and Eastern Europe charms. Must be mountainous, but with a sunny and dry climate on the coast. They have the most southern "fjord" (yes, it's a fjord) in Europe.

Population must be Orthodox Christian in majority, with some Muslim minorities, I guess.
