Well it actually depends on how you look. I am 15 years old and my glasses sometime make me look smarter but if my hair is back it makes me look younger,so its not really a matter of whether you look smarter with them on or maybe even off. It's all really depends on your hair, but if you're bald or grey yes you do look wiser but be careful they make you look older too and no one wants to be too old.

On that monkey, he just looks more cute than normal. On most people, I don't think it makes them look smarter, but maybe more defined depending on the frame and face.

It's a sterotype for smart people (or "nerds" as some call it) to wear glasses. It doesn't for me, because glasses are so common.

I think they do. Whenever I wear glasses, I'm always told I look more studious. I kinda like it.
