Well I think I have nearly every version of every song that Elvis recorded and I have gone through my collection for you and actually this was really tough as he is mostly singing about being in Love witha girl rather than a father/daughter type of relationship.
I could find only one suitable song, its still meant fort a girl however, it is subtle and could very well be appropriate for you and your Dad...If my daughter pulled me up on the dance floor at her wedding to dance to Teddy Bear or Can't Help falling in Love etc etc it would be OK but if she chose this sentimental song called 'This Is Our Dance' ...well it would be something I would never ever forget as long as I live, especially being an Elvis fan and her chosing it on her wedding day, especially for me :)
As said, the song is called 'This is Our Dance' and its on a CD called Love Letters from Elvis im sure you could down load it from I-Tunes or MSN. Anyway - here are the lyrics but you must listen to the song too before you judge too much as it has a real sentimental, waltzy, dancey weddingy type of feel to it too, anyway...
