Wow how can all of you be so nieve. Do you honestly think he is not on roids? It is almost impossible to get a big as him without roids. whoever said he was a bodybuilder so he cant take roids is ridiculous. They all are on roids. Bodybuilding turns a blind eye to that. They dont even test for roids at the Arnold classic. The wwe steroid policy is a joke. Chris masters and JBL were just being made examples of to make it look like they are doing something. Yea just like no one thought anybody was on roids in baseball and looked what happened does Balco ring a bell. Bonds, Giambi, Shelfield, Mcguire, Canseco, Palmeiro. A lot of people thought they were not on roids except Canseco. The cream and the Clear 3 are already out there and cannot be detected on test.
In conclusion Batista is on roids along with triple H, King booker, and many others. Even Flair got busted for roids and he doesnt look like he is on roids at all. Oh and Hogan and Warrior took roids.
I arrest my case.

When unflexed Dave Batista's veins are not that visible. If one eliminates the layer of fat between the skin and muscle many details show that normally do not. When someone who is as lean and as muscular as Batista flexs the bluging of veins will be VERY easily seen. Do I think he's on steroids, no. The muscularture of his body is very well proportioned. In most roid users the upper body is MUCH more developed than the lower body. I could give several more visual indicators of roid use that Batista does not have but quite frankly, I'm tired of typing.

Ah, yes. . . The age old question. . . Is someone (Batista) on steroids?
Unfortunately, to the lay person, this is hard to tell. But to someone familiar with the stuff, it is fairly simple to tell.
Chances are, Batista, as well as almost all of them in the WWE and ECW< are on something. What that something is, is a whole other debate.
But most of them DO show the classic signs of steroid use.
Batista, before he had to take a leave of absence, was at a weight of 317-320 pounds. He is now well under 300 pounds, at 290, according to WWE’s web site.
Some may argue that it is due to his injury and lack of physical activity that could make someone lose close to 30 pounds, however, that is just not the case.
A “typical” steroid cycle will give you in the neighborhood of 20-30 pounds in tissue gain. This goes for muscle, as well as fat, because as most bodybuilders will tell you, calories are KEY to gaining weight.
Once you stop taking steroids, and the ester starts to lose it’s half-life in the body, protein synthesis starts to slow down substantially. This is the cause for loss in body weight, as well as water loss.
It’s not just steroids here that are the culprit. Human Growth Hormone (HGH) is also showing it’s signature on some of these wrestlers. I won’t mention names, but there is a particular wrestler that shows CLEAR signs of HGH use; that being, the protruding eyebrow bone structure. See. . . The eyebrow bone structure NEVER stops growing. It is the only bone in the human body that continues to grow throughout your entire life. Introduce HGH to the body, and it is like a continuous growth spurt, affecting all tissue, and unclosed growth platelets in the human bone structure, that being the eyebrow region. It basically gives that almost like, Caveman appearance. I think you all know who I am talking about. Now, HGH does not, however, make you lean and cut, like Batista. It will make you fairly “smooth”, but still heavy.
So, is Batista taking steroids? I can honestly say I wouldn’t be surprised. As much of a fan I am of him, I would like to think not. But given his height, and his frame, it makes it harder to pack on lean muscle for him. Yet, he does have it. And given the fact that he was serious about bodybuilding, does NOT defend him in the least bit.
That’s my 2 CC’s.
Cheers,
Dan

According to a Muscle & Fitness interview he says he has never taken any type of steroid at any time in his life. The issue is from earlier this year and he is on the cover. Also, with the WWE's new strict Wellness program something as dangerous as steroids is not acceptable! That's the reason Chris Masters "disappeared" for a few months and came back looking leaner and lighter.

Unless any of us have personally seen have do it we should not speculate. The way his veins pop out of his arms like they don't want to be there tells me something because no matter how muscular you are veins like that are NOT normal. Just because he was a body builder before does not mean he never took steroids, it is virtually impossible to be a top profesional wrestler with out having some sort of help. Also WWE's "Wellnes Program" is a joke and Chris Masters did disapear for a while but I bet there is alot more guys who take roids and are getting through the system. Getting back to the question none of us should be speculating unless we seen him do it.

NO!! If any wrestler was on steroids then they would be suspended from the WWE for a long period of time. He just has huge muscles and works out a lot.

His body looks like he has used steroids, but he probably isn't taking any right now because of WWE's drug policy
