What I am looking for is like Paragraph 1: intro sentence...thesis...and extra info to support.
Paragraph 2: ?
Paragraph 3: ?
Paragraph 4: ?
I just don't know how the paper should come together, I have all the notes and stuff, but when it comes to putting everything into a paper, thats where I am messed up.

First you should have your thesis statement, then summarize all the points in a sentence each which you're going to use to argue your point. In the body paragraphs elaborate on those points you summarized in the first paragraph(in order of how you wrote them in the first paragraph), and be sure to cite plenty of documents. And last conclude by just summarizing all your points so they support you stance. Hope that helps!

You first have to decide what your position regarding the question is.

What immediately pops into your head as a one sentence response?
(Ex. No, that's only partially true! Duh, Roosevelt helped the country from the Great Depression with the New Deal)

Then search your documents and knowledge for things that can back that sentence up.

Divide that info into 3 broad categories and write a (thesis) sentence which ties them all together.

You now have a basic outline for a DBQ response.
