instead of apologising she twists it round and blames me.whats that all about?

That's not so nice. She doesn't like to accept responsibility for anything she does wrong, doesn't like to admit that she can be wrong. It's a control tactic. Do you really want to stay with this woman? She'll wreck your head eventually.

LOL!!! Women are good at that. I've done that to my own girlfriend a couple of times but she's smart enough to figure me out! Next time when she blames you sit down and evaluate what part you might have played in the argument. Apologize for your actions only! Let her take responsibility for her part. If she doesn't, it's no skin off your teeth.

It is so difficult for some folks to accept responsibility and blame for their actions. Much easier to blame everyone else.
Have a heart to heart and see if she realizes what she's done. If this is her true self, decide now if you can live with that. Most likely, she will never change. Love her with that imperfection or get the hell out of Dodge.

I think that in a lot of relationships there is that person that never takes the blame....it sucks...but maybe just not arguing her in her opinions might help. If she wants to blame you then say something like " Ok...if you think it is my fault I will take the blame. I hate fighting with you." Maybe she is just looking for that fight and if you don't give it to her she might just give it up and appologize and maybe even take a little blame.

Well, that way she doesn't have to deal with being wrong. I'm willing to bet she is overly jealous and/or easily angered also. It is a never ending mind game. It will not get any better. It will only get worse. It is a form of manipulation. Walk away.

Well she proly has some sort of emotional problem. Try talking it out and if that doesn't work, tell her 2 c a theapist. If that also fails, threaten to break up w/ her if she doesn't get help from a proffesional.

In that situation as we speak so i know how you feel ,
came home today to find no wife and kids, wedding pic smashed (again) and got message from mother in law saying wife will at a friends and will phone,

she cant admit she has done something wrong. i was living with a girl like that, everytime she did something instead of taking ownership of her behaviour, she would twist it round so i was the one to blame.
dont let her blame you, stand up to her. otherwise it will just get worse

Ya, I have a problem of doing that too! It's hard to admit you're wrong. Just let her twist it and know that she's just too scared to admit she's wrong. Or break up with her.

It's called projecting. If she can get the focus off of her she doesn't have to admit she is wrong. She prob justifies whatever she did in her mind and really believes you are the reason she did it.
