When we have to change our clocks back and hour or push it forward an hour where does that hour go? So two times a year we miss and hour. That is two hours out of the year that is lost somewhere. What do you think about the crazy time changing? Also why is Arizona exempt from changing their clocks back and forth?

The hour we 'lose' each fall is 'gained' back each spring, so in a year, there is no missing hour. They are just man-made measurements of time, anyway; no matter what the clock says, the earth continues it's rotation and revolution without regard to what we insist is the time of day!

Time changing was originally from the colonial era. People simply needed more time in the fall for harvesting. Benjamin Franklin noticed that the sun also set a little later in the latter half of the year. He saw this as an out for the harvesting ordeal, and gave them an extra hour. Soon, this caught on in other countries, like France and England. As to why we didn't just push our clocks back half an hour and leave it at that, I don't know. It would've made more sense.
