You can try to install a software such as Norton Internet Security. It has web and chat security features. However, I've seen it to be a bit unstable with some computers... :(

Otherwise, try to install an Internet gateway with some similar features. I have a Netgear gateway that allows you to set the time at which some Internet services can be accessed. For example, you could block the Internet after 9 PM if you want to­.

if u r referring to control the computer as a whole.. then U be the Administrator and set user accounts for ur younger ones with only the appropriate privileges..

if its the access to the Internet u wanna control.. then try some really s/w's like the Netnanny, SafeEyes or similar products dat got good reviews.. or u can ask ur ISP to filter the content to ur connection.. its possible wit most ISP's ...

There is no such thing, however if you wish to block others from accessing the computer, I suggest you have the ONLY adminstrator account and setup a password.

I would suggest that you make seperate accounts on your computer. One with a password for the administrator and then one for the child, who, not being the administrator of the computer, can't do much.
