i want a cell phone thats pre paid what should i get please name company and phone. what is the plan for a pre paid phone?

Well I first had t-mobile and at the time they were the ones that sounded the best for all around use. I mean if your not talking to perticuler group of people on all the same group. The seemed good cheap mintues and all of that. But then I changed to Cingular because I was talking to more people on Cingular then any other group. I know that at the time Cingular had two different pre-paided plans to chose from, 1) You clould talk to anyone on Cingular unlimited for $1 a day and then text were $0.05 sent and receaved. 2) It was $0.10 a minute and same rate for text. The thing is that if you didnt use your min in like 30 days they exspired. but the more min you bought the long the experation priod would be! That and right after they started runing those fewest droped calls in the nation commercials they started droping calls like crazy on both mine and the people I was talking to! Now with T-mobile lets say you would buy a $25 phone card you would get like 300 mins out of it. but if you got a $50 phone card then you would get almose 1000 mins. So you just have to see what works best for you!

Go to t-mobile company store or go online which I listed below and check out the pre-paid plan .The pre-paid phone cards go for $10-30 minutes.$25- 130 minutes.OR
GO to the website call net10 and they will give you pre-paid phones with prices and also minutes to choose from.

I like the cingular go phone. Its a great plan. You pick the plan of how many minutes you want then you buy the phone. Check it out at www.letstalk.com. I bought it for my daughter (16) she loves it. Plus she can call any cingular customer for free and unlimited nights and weekends.

i like to buy a phone separately and then buy a sim card from any company cuz their phones sux. i have a nokia 3250. 2 mega pixels camera, mp3 player ,mini SD 512 MB (up to 2 GB). this is what i call a cell phone.

I have a nokia tracfone. It works fine and it works together with US cellure fone towers. It is for a person that doesn't use their fone 24-7.

cingular go fone or go 2 walmart or something and ask bc they sem to have alot here lately!
