Life might seem hard at times, but really it isn't. Stop self-pitying, try to enjoy it. After all, you'll die at some point, and I bet being alive is better than that.

As we get older, we must accept more responsibilities. So, yes, we are challanged more as we older. But, it IS all about perception. We all have varying levels of responsibilities. This ranges from almost none for many celebrities to a great deal for the average single parent with a low income. Yet, even if we look at what we think is the worst in this country (assuming you are from the US), a person in another country with a poor economy may only dream of having the American "hard life". The truth is life is what we make of it. Appreciate that you have the freedom to work hard to advance in life and to make an 'easier' life for yourself. Think about if you became paralyzed, how much would you yearn to have the 'hard' life you had. Life is of good and bad. Only you can choose to focus on the good or the bad.
Hope this helps :)

Not sure where everyone gets this "we make life hard for ourselves" idea...Look in a nursing home: are those elderly people making life hard for themselves?
Life is a struggle, from the moment we're born until the moment we die. That is the essence of life. Modern comforts give us the illusion that we have some of our basic needs taken care of, but the truth is we still compete for everything: food, shelter, love, respect,... It stands to reason that as you age, the struggle becomes more difficult. For one, your body begins to lose its resilience, its ability to bounce back from, say, a sleepless night, and health becomes a greater, even primary concern. Another reason is that problems accumulate in our minds. As time passes, obviously, more bad things will happen to you, so when you're older, you have more painful memories to reflect on.

Life has its up and downs. What seems to be hard now will be sorted out then you will enter a superb phase. After that it can go either way it all depends on how you deal with the situations as they arise. For me at the moment life is great ,I am quite old ,but I worry about things going wrong. It is like a yo yo.Good luck ,just make sure the string does not break.

Yes, don't you remember when you were young that older people telling you that just wait until you are older.??
How about changing the word "hard" to "challenging". Then we face each challenge the best we can.
We also need to choose happiness. We need to make the best of things. We need to recreate our own perceptin to be move positive.

Well,
To be honest with you, life would be fun, sweet, easy, painless, etc..If Eve listen to God and didn't eat the apple, every since then life isn't suppose to be easy and all that!!! Life will get better once the world comes to an end, and when we get to Heaven, some peoples life will be full of joy, happiness, etc and some who doesn't make it in heaven will be miserable, painful, etc because they be in h e l l burning forever and ever and never stop!!!!

nope actually say every year that next year things will get easier but its doesnt. my experience it gets worse. I see it as learning curves and life throws things at you and it either makes you stronger to face the next thing or want to give up. theres times ive wanted to give up but then something inside kicks in and i face the next challenge.
who really wants an easy life that would be boring.lol

Life itself is not hard, we bring hardship onto ourselves. This is reflected in our everyday life patterns that we persist in doing. Even though we know its going to make life difficult for ourselves. However saying that how dull would life be without hardship?

Answering life's problems is the only way to maturity. We all have to become masters, so see every problem as an opportunity for growth.
