I am soon to marry an African man, originally from West Ivory Coast, and I was wondering how they treat their women?

Very badly they make them live in the forest without shelter and when there is shelter they are not allowed to live under it.
They also make the women even in the united states cook out of doors in a cauldron. They prefer their women naked at all times even when they go to the store.
You will not be allowed to eat anything but leaves
please do not marry this man you will live like a servant

some man treat there there women bad like they get what they want and then they leave other man they care for there women and there a easy way to see what kind of man you got if your man took time to know you then he a good one if not he's a bad one

I would strongly suggest you find out prior to marrying him. first question-are you staying here? if so it might be different than going to Africa. there he will be under pressure to act and treat you like other husbands treat their wives. I have very limited knowledge, but I know that many African wives are purchased, that implies that the wife is under the control of the husband. my church supports a missionary in Africa and the missionary comes to our church twice yearly to preach (he is a lifelong friend of our pastor and has been in Africa for (I'm guessing) close to 2 decades-travels quite a bit within Africa and that's how wives are acquired in the places he foes to.
