Where did you read this? Got a link or is this just something Lush Rumbagh just spouted off?

I just found it. If you'd bother to read up on OLD news, you'll also notice that the big baboon apologised to MJFox.

Shame on you for making fun of an ill man.

Haven't you ever heard the saying, when life gives you lemons make lemonaide? That's what Mr. Fox is doing. Do you have any idea what parkinsons is like? Imagine not having any control over your body's movements. It's annoying! Compare it to having a muscle spasm or the hiccups that wont stop times 100. . It would be easier to for MJF to sit at home and mope. But instead he's trying to make best with what he has.

What is really "disgusting" is that SOME people who have NO IDEA what this disease is all about, are so quick to pass judgement on someone who has the disease and is trying to lobby ANY bi-partisan support for a means to finding a cure.

"Political gain"? Where do you get that from? The man isn't running for office, for anything, anywhere. How do you equate trying to find a cure for a disease to "political gain"? Do you think that Michael J. Fox has nothing on his mind these days but which political party gets more votes? How ignorant! Haven't you watched any of his interviews? He doesn't care one whit which party takes office, just that whoever it is is supportive of funding to help find a cure, for his disease and many, many others.

Anyone who thinks he was "faking" his symtoms to garner sympathy has never spent any time around someone with Parkinson's disease, and, further, has never listened to Michael J. Fox inparticular. He ABHORS pity.

To put him in the same category as Cindy Sheehan is ridiculous and ignorant - although both have valid arguments where their core issues are concerned. Her son was killed and she opposes the war. What would YOU have done if it were YOUR son? Send a thank you card to the White House?

I pity you if anyone in your family could have been helped by this valuable research, but wasn't, because of uninformed and knee-jerk attitudes like the one(s) stated here. How sad.

You need serious help. You are the disgusting person. You are the hack. I've heard him speak and he has not said this - your information and your conclusions are equally ignorant.

He has NOT endorsed the admendment in Missouri because he hasn't studied it, he IS endorsing McCaskill because she supports expanding federal funding for embryonic stem cell research. The Democrats are NOT using him, he has done this on his own, even supporting a Republican in 2004.

So many people are uneducated on this subject, and you all need to go study and get out of the way of the progress of humanity.

He has to live that like every second of his life. You dont know what the side effects of his medication are. He has had Parkinsons for over 15 years, can you imagine if he was on his medication then? What kind of life is that to lead? If I had that disease and any celebrity I would do everything I could to endorse anyone who would support the thing that might possibly cure me.

Don't you have something else to ask? Why do you bash an ill person. Would you feel better if you had Parkinson's and Mr. Fox had your health? Then he might plug your candidate. Also Micheal Fox has given generously to both parties. You are sick.

i hit upon O'Reilly and his ilk repugnant. I applaud united statesfor finding out they do no longer choose to sell on his prepare. besides the shown fact that i exploit the channel determination swap to evade staring at him. in terms of who sponsors what. I base my purchase judgements on product high quality and my own standards. I evade letting my political critiques ascertain what i purchase. One exception being an employer that behaves in an egregious way.

I think everyone needs to worry a little less about Hollywood and more about those around them. There's no way I'm going to let Alex P. Keaton or Spicoli lead me down any path. We need to listen to those respected in our communities and do our own research. I wouldn't say Fox is disgusting, but would say if people are really going to let him or anyone in Hollywood sway them, then they need to turn off the E! or close the tabloid and get educated.

No ,He did NOT say he was over medicated.Next time listen and or read correctly. The type of medication that he is on is not easy to control. His disease is so far advanced that the medication will not take the symptoms all away.
Like your buddy rush you need to educate yourself before you say things that you know nothing about.

You know if they just made new stem cell strains legal and made government funded studies, they he couldn't use his "predicament" for political gain. My view is that it isn't a "predicament" but it is part of his life. He is living with Parkinson's. And he is using his life for political gain.
