It WAS on the rise from 1996 to 2000. It is rising again as Pokemon Diamond and Pearl come to the DS sometime next year, because these will be the first Pokemon games using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. How does this relate to the TCG? There have been newer versions of the game's cards since ex was introduced.

I like Pokemon, and I'm 13.
I think Pokemon is still pretty popular; I just went to Taiwan 2 months ago, and there was this HUGE Pokepark there. It was overcrowded, not to mention really fun!
There are a lot of trading cards that are still coming out, and Pokemon isn't as big as it used to be, but it's still running.

YES!!! I play pokemon tcg a lot,and i think it is still very popular,because there are still many members from all age in the 3 sites that i have joined:

I think it is big in Japan,and some countries in U.S.A,such as Newyork.

no Pokemon is decline and will eventually be euthanized as a franchise.

i dont think so. didnt all of that like die five years ago? i remember i used to love pokemon but as far i know it died like 5 years ago
