Just do what she says, parents tell you no for a reason. You'll look back on it when your older and more mature and say, damn mom was right.

I've had myspace for a long time. I'm 20, they have an age restriction on myspace, or did for a while. I don't know if they still do. I think you should be atleast 15, and i think pictures are ok, if you are clothed. But, make her feel like she can trust you...let her sit down with you, and make a myspace page, and tell her that you'll only go on myspace when she is there. Let her put a password on the computer so you can't go on the computer when she's not there...parents are all about trust, and negotiation...most of the time! Be honest with them!

What's the point of having a myspace when all your info is fake? what are you gonna use it for? I'm sorry but I think your mum is right. Maybe you'll think differentyly when you're a bit older. Get some 'real' friends your age for now.

Whats the big deal with that myspace thing?

Honestly spend more time offline then you do online, your world will be a lot better.

There is plenty of other stuff to do online. I don't understand the big fascination with myspace anyway. You really aren't missing anything.

Well...myspace isnt fun without pictures! lol...but anyways...just do it anyways...it's not like she'll KNOW!...or...take her on myspace and show her that...if you are under 18 only your friends can view your profile...so no creepy strangers can message or comment you...unless you accept them as your friend!

tell her that you will set it to private and only be friends with people you actually know in real life. Let her have her password as well so she can check it at any time and see that you are being safe.

Well......I already have one and my mom doesn't know but I don't think she'd care because I'm 18yrs old and there isn't anything wrong with mine because it's totally Christian based anyways so I don't think she'd mind and......I don't know what to tell ya. It depends on your age.
