The chances of reviving a child are better than an adult. So if there is time to get both even if one were to be unconscious, it's better to rescue the adult first.

I would hope that I wold never really have to make a choice like that. I assume I wouldn't be able to save both because they would be too far apart and I wouldn't have time? In that case I would have no choice but to save the one I had the best chance of saving in time. I could never choose between them any other way.

Hmm... Save the child. For two reasons: (1) my child has much more life ahead of him, and is obviously less capable of saving himself. (2) Letting my husband drown seems cheaper and more effective than filing divorce. LOL. Thought provoking question, though. Thanks for asking! ♥

I would probably save my hubby since he is not where he needs to be with God. It would be a hard thing to do but I would know in my heart that my children would go to heaven because both of them are not at the age of accountability yet. It would be the hardest thing to do but with God's help...I would get through it. That would be the christian thing to do. I would never be the same.

My child. Though I love my spouse with all my heart. My child did not ask to come into this world, and he, or she as every right to have a chance.

The child. The spouse is an adult and should have learned to swim. Besides, you can always find another woman to fill your bed, but your child is unreplacable.
