You will not know what happen when you are in deep sleeping or sleepy that you feel you are dreaming. Anyway, you are probably eating bugs and spiders while awake, that is what I know. Do you know that some spiders and bugs (mostly their eggs) are mixed up in most agricultural products people consume?

Chocolate - 80 microscopic insect fragments per 100g
Canned sweet corn - 2 3mm-length larvae, cast skins or fragments
Cornmeal - 1 insect per 50g
Canned mushrooms - 20 maggots per 100g

On spiders, its venom does not exist to harm creatures, like humans, and in nearly all cases has little if any effect on humans so no harm just in case itis eaten while asleep.

Some countries like Thailand have insects and bugs included in their staple foods. Mealworms, grasshoppers, longicorn larvae, waterbugs and even scorpions--all roasted, fried, or spiced to taste. ♥

Well in various parts of the world, you would be more likely to accidentally eat an insect or spider while sleeping, but I believe thta the whole 7 spiders a year thing is a little bit of an urban legent. Various insects like bed bugs and kissing bugs are attracted to the mouth, mostly becasue the lips are full of blood vessels and the tissues surrounding these food reservoirs is rather thin and easy to penetrate. In this case the chances of actually swallowing one of these tiny ectoparasites is much increased. Typically though most insects try to avoid the business end of any larger animals, including humans.
The whole 7 spiders a year thing is probably an over-exaguration, Yeah it has probably happened in the past where someone accidentlly swallowed a spider in their sleep, but where do the people who came up with this cock and bull story get their infor from??? did they set up cameras around someone's mouth for a full year while they slept and have someone watch the videos non-stop to count all the spiders that entered and never left the mouth.....I dont think so!

Dont worry about any of this nonsense, it is all a myth!

No - this is a recurring urban legend with no basis in fact. Actually it was first advanced as a fictional idea that was the kind of thing that could be turned into a legend - and it did!

Only very rarely unless you sleep with your mouth open, and have no screens in your windows.
