Because the English are thick... The vast majority are just like those morons who follow our football teams and make drunken idiots of themselves in other countries.
There's no doubt that the moment it became clear he'd lied to Parliament and the people with those two - (TWO...!) - "Dodgy-Dossiers"...!!! - Blair should have been booted out immediately.
Instead, he just grins, lies some more, and hangs in at No 10 while New Labour colleagues fall about in admiration, gasping - "Oh, what a performer...!" - terrified of losing their seats...
But the British people should march on Downing Street and throw him out. I don't want a Prime Minister who takes no notice of Public Opinion... then lies, laughs and gets away with it...!

Blair was elected - his government have to go back to the electorate after five years, when we can remove them. We elect a government to run things for us, not to come back to us to make the decisions every five minutes.
Sometimes governments have to go against public opinion if they deem it to be in the best interests of the country - and if those decisions turn out to be wrong they must face he consequences.
The ID cards issue is nothing new. It was in the manifesto at the last election - I don't agree with it either, but it's part of the policy our government was elected on.
The digital TV thing is technology led, and would be happening whichever party was in office. You don't have to have digital TV. You could read a book or listen to music.
The Blair government gave Scotland more power over its own destiny than it has had since the Union. Scotland is a net drain on the UK and would be given its independence as soon as over 50% of its population demonstrate that's what they want. What is the largest party in the Scottish Parliament? It certainly isn't SNP. The oil isn't an issue - left to the Scots it would still be stuck under the sea.
This government has failed on a number of levels, but has also overseen unprecedented prosperity in this country, and record spending in the NHS and education.
There are many good reasons to attack Blair's premiership - but your ungrammatical rant really doesn't hit the mark.

dictator...lmfao...dictator...where do you bleeding hearts come up with those things. look pal, al qaeda could give a rats less if youd rather not fight them...its called JIHAD or holy war for a reason..its not going away any time soon and you can thank one of those soldiers you think the government doesnt care about for making sure you have the right to let loose your diatribe here.
So were at war, GET OVER IT, there hasnt been a sucessfull attack on us soil since 2001. and in case you havent been reading the newspapers lately Blair and the Mps were largely responsible for foiling the plan of blowing up more airplanes. Blair cares about preserving freedoms not catering to whining and people who dont understand its about maintaining lifestyle and freedom...PERIOD.
Im sorry you of the xbox generation have so little understanding of what war is about but I can tell you from first hand personal experience being in new york at nine eleven watching people die that you dont know what this thing is about until you smell taste and view death. the memory doesnt leave quickly and my only comment about bush is right or wrong, thank god we have a president that isnt afraid to do something about staying alive rather than doing a whitehouse intern on the oval office floor.
In the future please get your facts right and stop wasting time until you check them....thanks

Blair and most of his rabble are Scottish!
They do not care about Scotland or England (Wales or Ulster for that matter).
They care about themselves.
Whoever else is elected will still only be able to work under the rules of the EU anyway.

He's not a dictator, we have the power to remove him.
As for the oil, that's a tired old argument. Scotland could no more survive as well it does now on oil as it could on shortbread exports. I'm all for higher taxes north of the border however, and more cracking down on benefit scroungers.

Blair? A dictator... I'm sorry, what?? A DICTATOR, you say?
Boy, you really don't know what you're talking about, do you? As much as I hate Blair, that's the dumbest thing I've heard all day.

Why don't you start a movement for Scotland to secede from the United Kingdom? My understanding is that Scotland is a big economic drain on the UK. True or not?

We have no choice. Our political and electoral systems are designed to favour the politicians over the people. All we can do is blow of steam in places like this. (Though not outside Parliament of course, because that is illegal)
