How could the maid have been getting the mail? The body was found Sunday and there is NO mail delivery on Sunday. AHA I do believe we have a killer !!!!
unless of course, the mail was delivered on Saturday AFTER the maid had left, and this was the first chance she had to get it. OH-OH now we may have to rethink this whole situation. Although the body was found Sunday morning, what was the actual time of death......

This man that was murdered..caught his wife having sex with the gardener..they were both out in the garden butt naked and going at it when her hubby looked out the upstairs window..he was furious and told the maid to put her clothes back on he had some bussiness to take care,,He went into the kitchen and grabbed a knife and the cook said HEY BIG BOY TOY are we on for tonight..of course we are...as he left the kitchen he seen the butler whos pants were unzipped and quickly got in the closet to give a quick pipe cleaning...HUBBYwas running out the door when HE slipped over the steps and landed face down on the knife......the end...miia

Or maybe the butler, because butlers answers doors, don't they? I though maids cleaned. I've never had either, so I wouldn't know.

You want us to say: "mail does not get delivered on Sundays", so it would be the maid - but maybe she was getting Saturday's delivery, or the maid made a mistake, or was dyslexic or senile or something.
PS The police probably would arrested the murderer not the murdered :)

I always read the Mail on Sunday a quality paper, so it must be the Butler as who would reasonably clean a closet.
