Well, if someone tried to chew my fingernails, I would be pretty annoyed. As long as their picking their own nose and not mine, who cares!?

In a highschool biology class, we were shown a microscopic slide of what is underneath a fingernail. It was so gross, I have never chewed my fingers since.
So I'll go with chewing nails!

Nose picking though I've been known to shove a finger up friend's noses. (I'm an OCD nail biter, so naturally, I don't find it that bad though I do know its a dirty habit since hands touch everything)

I think both are absolutely despicable, but I think that picking your nose is worse. I mean you have to shake people's hands and then you go around touching stuff. That's how germs are spread, however, with biting nails, that's still your nasty saliva all over the hands. Either way you look at it's germs are being passed from hand to hand. YUCK!!
