Hello
I am self learner in astrology. I have read a good number of books on vedic astrology.but still I have got doubts. being a new member here I would like to be on the listening mode first and from time to time I might pop up and ask some questions.I have seen many expert answers in this forum.I am much impressed about it. I am an IT professional but I would like to call myslef as an astrologer atleast after mastering athe complete Vedic Astrology( I wish I could).

in the mean time, can any one tell me about my current astrological position according to Rahu/Shani/Guru Transit?
I was born on 1st August 1975. time: 11:50AM , Bharani Star (Mesh raasi and Tula Lagna(Libra Ascedant).). I would like to know specifically How Guru can help me at this time!!

Every person born on this earth (with a soul ‘locked’ into his/her body) will have the blessings of Param Aathma or Supreme God; the degree of the blessings may vary depending upon a person’s past birth Karma. The degree or the strength of the blessings from the Param Aathma, to a person, could be worked out from the horoscope by interpreting the planetary position very minutely.

Therefore, the Astrologers after a deep analysis, classify a horoscope to be of either below average, average, above average, extraordinary, in a very few cases Astrologers may even classify a horoscope to be Super horoscope. The classic example for the Super horoscope is the president of a political party, who officially speaking, is just an MP, but she is consulted for every aspect in our country whether if it is a Mumbai dance bar problem or hike in petroleum products at national level.

A person born with below average horoscope (with lesser blessings due to some sin committed in the previous birth) can climb to an average or above average category, in this birth, by discharging his/her duties promptly, honestly, faithfully and approaching the world positively with out hurting others, mingling with good people, respecting and listing the elders and more importantly praying to Param Aathma sincerely.

Accordingly, your horoscope is –no doubt-above average one.

For Tula Lagna, Shani is first rate Yoga Karaka. In your Chart it is placed in Karma Sthana and is Vargottama! As you know that Vargottama Shani will automatically become powerful to produce good results. Only minor minus point is that Shani receives the aspect of Mangal, otherwise its position is commanding because it is not under combust although with the Sun.

Karma Sthana Vargottama Shani clearly indicates that you have done very good deeds (Virtue) to the working class poor people (you can otherwise call Labor) in your previous birth. In general many people believe that feeding a Brahman is virtuous act because it is said Brahmana Bhojana Priya. But more virtue is showered upon us if we feed the lower working class people and make them comfort and happy! {By the by I am a Brahmin…. OK}

For example -in a construction company laborer are just paid for their perspiration, hard and sincere work and they are forgotten, where as the white collar staff are well paid, given all facilities like bonus, accommodations, convenience etc.

What I mean to say is, you-in your previous birth- had done enough good deeds towards the poor working class people and earned their heart full blessings, which is traced from the Vargottama Shani and Guru, Ruchaka Yoga, Chanrda Mangala Yoga, Guru Mangala Yoga etc present in your Birth Chart.

Presently you are under the fifth Maha Dasha (odd number Dasa will always do good) in the form of Rahu and Shani’s sub-period (from January 2006 to December 2008) Although Rahu is ill placed, however the sub-period of Shani counts heavily for you.

In this juncture you need not worry at all about the transit of Guru. In general the Guru transiting to Vrischika Raashi will give Maha Papa Moksham to one and all because from Vrischika Raashi Guru will move on to its Moolatrikona Sthana in Godhanda Raashi. Therefore even the inauspicious 8th house Guru will not trouble you. For your kind information-Guru is also in Vargottama in your horoscope.

I agree that there are some minus points (also) present in your horoscope-like mutual aspects between Shani and Mangal, Rahu’s second house position, Ketu in the 8th house, Shani aspecting the good Guru, Moon are some minus point which you have to take as your Prarabhdha Karma and suffer or enjoy. However the transit Guru is not going to make any debacle to you, please remember that you will be relieved from the Kandak Shani from 01/11/2006.

I haven't been on Yahoo very long, but I am seeing a pattern of trolling and abuse already. The reason I am here is to share what I discover to help others. If I can learn something along he way, then great. BUT, if someone ASKS for a link for something, and that link just happens to be a commercial site, I don't consider this SPAM. I got suspended for this once. SPAM is unsolicited. But yet, Yahoo won't let you post many helpful links, even if the asker wants them. I will try to help others as best I can, but if I have to pay for it, then nope. I'll move on somewhere else. They should actually be paying ME for my 'free' help I provide. I try to post 'footnotes' or links to support any answers I give, except for some of the very obvious one's. I am VERY careful that I don't post any 'commercial' sites. I just tell someone that they have to google this or that. Yahoo does invite abuse, because it's a popular site with a lot of visitors, and no confirmation of a member's IP address. Yahoo answers is more of an opinionated answer forum. There really is no way to determine if someone's answer is really a fact or a fiction. There was a site I saw that claimed that diabetic people lost on average 13 years of their lifespan once diagnosed. But I lost the site address. So, just because I can't find the site again, does it mean that my statements are not facts? Speaking of facts, I have NONE unless I experience them personally. I have to take the word of the sites I research on the internet as being fact. FYI: I am a level 3 right now. In less than 100 points, I will be a level 4. Perhaps a disclaimer at the top of the web page that says: All answers are OPINIONS and not necessarily facts. The use of any answer or statement is at your own risk. There are just too many trolls out there for Yahoo to prosecute. About violations and suspensions: Yahoo should at least give you a warning email before suspending you, and a time frame of how long you are suspended for. Except for illegal postings or absolutely OUTRIGHT SPAM, not just a link.

Here's is an interpretation according to Western Astrology. As you did not give your birth place, I cast your chart for Delhi.

Guru or Jupiter is now about to begin transiting your 2nd house of Money / Possessions / Values. From now until December 2007, there will be an increase in activity in these areas. Jupiter will pass over your natal Rahu this month November 2006. It will also favourably aspect your natal Pluto, Fortuna, Mercury, Sun and Neptune in quick succession in December 2006, and Neptune again in August 2007. In November 2007, transiting Jupiter will aspect natal Jupiter. All of these transits will bring money or gains of some kind. There will also be involvement in business, trade, communications or transportation.

In general, Work / Health matters and Career / Public Image matters will go well over the next year. However, Jupiter also unfavourably aspects natal Venus in January, July and September 2007. There may be a health problem due to an illness or accident, for which surgery may be required. Take care of the health. There could also be problems with banks, investments, taxes or inheritances, as well as romance, children, friends and associations.

All astrology is bunkum. There are no such things as spirits, horoscopes, astral planes or anything else that can tell fortunes or predict the future. How can any planet / star / rock in space or anything else send some sort of influence millions of miles through space to and insignificant little planet, pick a member of one of the thousands of species that live on it who was born at a certain time and date and create 'good luck'. What a load of tosh. If I were you i would put all your astral books, charts and mumbo jumbo where they belong. In the rubbish bin!
