what is the monthly cost of guild wars?

Just your broadband fee and time. Guildwars only charges for the game itself, as its really a regular game like diablo trying to disguise itself as an MMO.
I said time due to the patching process which is awful. Mostly redownloading a large file every time as they chose to store everything in 1 big file.

there is no monthly cost just the cost of the game when you buy it
