Hearts is fun, and designed for 4 players. Pretty easy to learn.
Bridge is designed for 4 people, but I've never played so I don't know how easy it is to learn or not.
Rummy is fun and can be played with 2 or more people.
There's also a fun game called "Frank's Zoo" that has it's own card deck that I played at a friend's house one time. I don't recall the details, but I recall that it was for multi-players (like more than 2 or 3 worked best) and it was lots of fun.

There is a game called back alley that is really fun for four. It is a spades like game, but the trump suit, and the amount of cards dealt change with each hand. The following website has the exact rules. Have Fun!

Mexican Sweat - Deal seven cards down to each player and three up in the middle. First card you beat , second is wild and the third will kill you . First player will turn up cards until they beat the first card up in the middle then the second person will beat that person and so on . It's played just like poker . Have fun .

hand and foot the simple version
for each player you need a deck of cards plus jokers plus one more (example 4 players = 5 decks of cards)
The point of the game is to get the most points after 3 or 4 rounds of play
you do this by getting 7 of something (7 sevens or 7 queens) two's and jokers are wild so you could get 7queens by putting 5 queens and 1 two and 1 joker to make 7 "queens" (except for three's: read below)
for perfect sets (no wilds) players get 500 points
for imperfect sets (at least 2 real cards per wild) players get 300 points
To start the game you deal out two stacks of 13 cards to each player (the hand and foot), you play with the cards in your hand and you don't get to see what's in your foot until you've played all the cards in your hand.
starting with the pile of undealt cards (face down) and one card in the discard pile (face up), the player left of the dealer starts by drawing two cards and discarding one
players can pick up the last 7 cards of the discard pile providing it's not a three (cuz you can't make sets of three's, they can't be played only discarded) and they have to be able to play with the top card of the discard pile
in the first round players have to have 100 points in order to play their cards out of their hands
then 150 for the second round 200 for third etc.
points for cards:
jokers = 50
twos and aces = 20
eight - king = 10
four - seven = 5
black threes = 0
red threes = -300
so example first round of play I see a king and an eight in the discard pile along with a red three with the eight being on top and I have 2 eights a king and a joker in my hand. I could pick up the pile play 3 eights and 2 kings with a joker for a total of 130 points discarding the red three for my first round lay down.
So I guess I forgot to say that you have to have at least 3 or something to lay it down (3 nines, or 3 aces... and so on)
Anyway you keep doing this till you can go into your foot.
You can't discard wild cards so if it's all that's in your hand you have to pass to the next player (that's the only time you can pass)
To end a round you have to have at least one perfect set and one imperfect set, and play all your cards. You can discard to go into your foot... but you have to play your last card to end the round.
If you still have cards in your hand when somebody goes out, then those get deducted from what you have in play. So don't get caught with red threes in your hand or lots of wilds. tis bad
