OK - I have put in charge of my church's Christmas play for the 2nd year in a row. Last year I had a great guitarist do the accompaniment, but I would like to go with something canned this time. Can anyone suggest a good instrumental or split-track accompaniment CD with a lot of song options?? Nothing that involves Santa & Rudolph or Jingle Bells...it is a play about the Nativity .

Thanks!!

I'm not sure about the availability in your area, but have you considered the option of finding out about karaoke tracks for carols? Ones that deal specfically with the Natvity are:

Once in Royal David's City
Away in a Manager
and Hark, the Herald Angels sing

You could do some googling of Christmas instrumentals. The main reason I wanted to answer your question was to say Hallelujah - a real Christmas play about the Nativity!!! Love those who keep CHRIST in Christmas!

go to walmart. You will find a DC there. Look for a children's choir that does a Christmas CD
