Liverpool have won The European cup(Which was the old name of the Champions League) 5 times 1977, 1978, 1981, 1984 and 2005. 1977 and 1978 Emlyn Hughes lifted both European Cups in 1981 Phil Thompson lifted the cup(Scouser), 1984 Greame Souness lifted the cup and present day Steve G lifted the champions league cup 2005. So only Two scousers lifted the European cup Emlyn Hughes was born in Barrow Carlisle and Souness was Scottish.
Two Liverpool born captains have lifted the European Cup Phil Thompson, and Steve Gerrard. Emyn Hughes was not born in Liverpool.

Answer number 2 was wrong. Keegan was born in Yorkshire. I think it was Stevie Gerrard, Tommy Smith and Phil Thompson./
