Yes, i do believe in it a lot.I am from a West African country--Ghana and in a descent tribe---the "kasinas".Sex before marriage is considered a social vice and girls are especially well monitored.I used to think its backward but i have realised that it helps a lot in society,one major help is preventing divorce.Most who indulge in primarital sex end up single parents.
