Amen, actually I don't.. heard him on talk radio this afternoon, and turned to another speaker.. who spoke about Limbaugh, and thought to myself, NOW what has he mindlessly spewed. Pretty lame the whole ordeal over Katy Couric's interview with Micael J. Fox.. his "reenactment" shifting about, .... I mean, let's see him cracked out on pills and all sit back and watch, no thanks (oh wait youtube.com has the footage, lol).. you get my point. He's digging his hole even more, which I love,, so whoever listens, please continue.. but those buffoons will be the ones that we have to listen to some other time.
James Carville is hilarious, I read his book, even though I don't wholeheartedly agree, he's funny, and even he doesn't dig himself to China, and shows some dignity, about himself and issues. (At least I respect his demeanor to be reflective of his passion, not wailing mouth pollution).

I don't particularly care for his talk show, but you've got to admit, he raises some pretty hairy issues.
The question I'd like an answer to is why do people listen to Howard Stern? I'm not sure if we can consider him a drug addict, but he sure is a womanizer and a pervert. However, he's a smart one and a rich one.

I don't listen to him. Never heard of him.
But many people are entertained by garbage the more media coverage (good or bad) the higher the ratings. Look at Jerry Springer

People that are on the far right side of the political spectrum like to have their views reinforced by Rush. The same dynamic plays out in many social situations where people like to be around others who share their points of view. The fundamental premise is people are uncomfortable having their beliefs system challenged.

James Carville is married with 2 children - a family man
Rush Limbaugh leaves the country to use Viagra - not a family man.
Howard Stern is a divorced man with 3 children (all of them nearly grown) - he chose celebrity over his family; he chose the freedom to use profanity over CBS' desire to keep him AND he chose $500 Million over a 20 year relationship with CBS. CBS could buy Sirius some day - If Stern is a smart man - so be it. Limbaugh is not a smart man - if I say more, I'll lose 10 pts for abuse.

The last time I checked, being a womanizer/pervert didn't disqualify you from being respected (cough...Bill Clinton...cough).
Regarding his drug addiction: if that is reason to not listen to anyone ever again, somebody should tell everyone in Hollywood. Maybe that would save us from the opinions of Sean Penn, Janeane Garafalo, Zack whatchamacallit from Rage Against the machine, and every other dimwitted celebrity who spouts off about politics based on their incredibly rich history and education regarding economics, world events, and scientific matters.

He's entertaining and presents what he has to say eloquently. I'll listen to anyone who speaks well and presents his/her views well, regardless of which of those opinions/views I do or don't agree with.
Its not good just to listen to people who say what you believe anyway. Its healthier to listen to what any number of people say regardless of whether you agree with them or not.
Also, millions of listeners don't believe that what he says is garbage - so that accounts for some of who listens.
Also, for the person with just a regular radio, if that person wants talk they probably have to accept that most of the talk is either conservative or conservative-leaning.
Finally, people who are secure and mature don't see radio entertainers as someone to either "follow" or not. They see these people as entertainers, and they're secure enough to be able to listen talk of what kind or another and without having the world end. Mature people aren't out to marry or be friends with talk-show hosts. They just want a little humor and some adult talk of one sort or another.
I don't care which entertainers have drug problems. What amazes me is that polilticians can be alcoholics, drug users or people with a history of drug use or abuse, womanizers, perverts, or general sleeze-buckets - and many people don't see some of those things are reason some people should not work in the capacity they do.
Why would spin your wheels over radio-host, Rush Limbaugh, when there are bigger fish to fry in this country...

he said some real good stuff against rape and crime today, which is new.
so i gave him a good shout out at the beautiful tranny ann coulter fan club trying to make slight amends for all the wicked shyt i've spit about him.
he still sounded ph`,`qqed up trying to sell lynn cheney's lesbian child molester book though.
and maybe he feels bad because he knows they already put out some hits on me.
in fact, there's an alledged child molester sitting next to me right now, breathing heavy, from lawton, oklahoma.
where that child molester/pornographer sarah n is from.
