History can be a hard interest to hold, for me personally, I am a History Major at an U.S. University in my last year. I find history interesting in part by imagining it being a story, which it is, and you almost have to retell it to yourself, while imagining it happening. History also can repeat itself, and knowing how people acted toward it originally will make people more prepared in the future. Overall though, some parts of history interest people, and others just will not. The key is to find something about it that interests you, and maybe take studies up on that particular subject, or just try to tough it out and stay awake, as hard as that might be at some points!

Try doing out of class studying. Read novels or watch movies about the time period your class is studying. Visit related historical places or talk to people who lived through that time (if possible). Study with a friend, maybe even joke about the time period together. There are lots of ways to find interest in History.

First, learn this. When you refer to a subject in school, the only course which is CAPitalized is a language. A history class is NOT capitalized!
