No. Frankly, Java is so stable, it is going no where.

Microsoft's goal, as I understand it, is to have the .Net CLR (Common Language Runtime) to be useful to as many developers as possible.

J# is just a attempt which cannot undermine Java. Did you understand Microsoft doing everything to undermine Java, did you see Sun doing anything to undermine .net program. It seems now that Java is the Leader and other is the follower.

No J# is a way that java programmers can utalise the .net framework. All programmers programming in there prefered language using 1 framework.
