Give it a few months. But, it may never be back to what it was before. Take a look at your mom.........most of what will or will not go back is genetic.

My aunt had 4 kids, and after my first she said I would go back into shape faster if I wore something like a girdle for a little while. She was so right!!! Our guts (skin, ligaments, tendons, organs, etc.) are fighting against gravity to go back into place. Once I started wearing one I immediately saw a difference. It was fun to check each morning the status of my bellybutton and then again at night when I took it off. There was a noticeable difference from morning to evening! Plus it was satisfying to go from an XXL to an XL to a L before I quit wearing it. Hope this helps.

It should go back in as your belly starts to shrink. Right now you are probably still experiencing some uterine swelling and it all just needs to settle back into place. After another week to 4 weeks it should start to look more like normal.
Congratulations on your new baby!!!

It will take longer than a couple weeks. After your belly looses that "Pouchy" look from delivery. Give your body time to heal. It took me about a month and a half to get my belly back to normal. Even after it looked normal it was still a bit Darker than normal...is that also an issue?

Soon honey. My belly button stuck out really far, but it has gone back.
Unfortunately, I have no recollection of when it happened, so I can't help you with that!
But be assured that it will go back to normal.

It takes sometime if your nursing your baby it will be much quicker for you then if you are bottle feeding it takes about six weeks for your uterus to go back to normal size so...sometime around then you should be back to normal ..Don't worry and Congrats on the new baby!!!

it will return back to normal when all of the swelling in your tummy has gone away. probaly within the next four weeks it should be back to normal. you still have some swelling from your recent delivery.
congratulations on the new baby
