Tired of this girl talking about how much she makes and trying to make me feel lower than her...as if i dont have a good job! She talks to me like I know nothing about the business world! I hate it. Not to mention, she is talking to a guy that i was previously talking to. I think she is trying everything in her power to make me jealous. She will never make me jealous, but she is getting under my skin.

I dont care about how much she makes. But I also dont want her to think that I am ignorant to how to get jobs....high paying jobs etc.....I make a good amount of money, and i want to blurt it out so bad to make her feel stupid! but I was taught to be humble and not to do those things.

Maybe the real deal is that she is jealous of YOU. Usually if people brag about money, relationships, etc, it is because they aren't really happy. If she is talking to a guy you used to, she is trying to get to you. I would be happy as hell everytime she brags. Just take it, and know you are being the bigger person. I, also hate it when people brag too much. (Like great, well, I am honestly happy with my life enough, where I don't have to brag, ya know). Don't react to her. Then she knows it is bothering you and she will continue to do it. If you really have to, brag about something to her, like, yeah I used to talk to him, he is lame......good luck.

Then by allowing her to get under your skin she is making you jealous. When she tells u how much she knows about business nod and smile and say things like "well done" or "I agree". Then walk away. As for the money she is earning tell yourself that it's a little sad that a lonely person has to brag about a wage as they don't have a lot else to talk about. And if she really is trying to make you jealous why is she jealous of you? You certainly have something that her knowledge of business or her salary can't get...so stay just as you are coz u r really getting under her skin.

Listen, if this girl is really that petty, "let" her be. It's not "you" she's making look bad, it's herself. And if you let her know she bothers you, this will just make her happier! Don't give her the time of day, much less the satisfaction of thinking you're jealous, okay? A good person isn't someone who makes more money, or brags about how much they make. Just ignore her and be happy you're not "her". Okay?

Don't give away she is getting under your skin. And I believe you are somewhat preturbed she is where she is however, your self worth should not be found in her. Your self worth should be found in Christ. I find he is the solid rock who is still there after everyone else fails you. Indeed everyone is going to fail you because all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. I cannot imagine having my self worth in anything else. It's like building your house on sand. The foundation is so weak your house falls because you dont' have a substantial foundation. Your self worth should never be found in other people.

ok listen just because she makes more money that doesn't make her a better person.. she keeps talking about all the money she makes and about her job just because she is so insecure and that is the only thing that makes here feel that she actually has something good to say about her self.. don't feel bad and don't let her get to you

Yeah she might make more but I'll give you 10 to 1 that she's also deeper in debt than you are. Think about that for awhile it should help quite a bit.

next time she says how much money she makes, put her in a place that makes her feel uncomfortable...
ex
her: like wow (you) i just got my check today and it was like 500.00.
you: like wow how many tricks did you have do to get that raise?
like she is an animal or something.
there is also the I'M bigger then you approach, when her snotty *** tells you how much money she made, just say that's great, i am happy for you. then walk away. Vengeance is mine saith the lord (if you are christian)

Just straight out ask her why she is constantly mentioning how much she makes. Ask her if shes insecure. Usually if you point out something someone does in front of other people they will shut up about it. You might make her self conscious about it.

I think you need to just come out and tell her that you don't appreciate the things that she is saying to you. It sounds like she has no self esteem so she has to brag to feel good about herself.
