Yes, you will fit on Expedition Everest and The Mummy. They are both lap bar rides.

Universal do allow for larger people. As explained in previous question, they have special seats on some rides. The rides they don't have special seats on are designed for a wide variety of shapes and sizes.

Sweety, you are not too big. You need to stop believing that you are too big; you don't want the worry to ruin your holiday before it has begun.

I'm sure you'll be able to fit, but just so you can actually see and decide for youself before you get there, check out this website. This section is specifically made for people who aren't sure if they'll be able to fit on the rides (there's pictures for all of the other ride's seats, too.)

"Share your experience regarding the Seating for Expedition Everest!

Big Mama 1/28/06 -- Large bellied folk, listen up! I'm a 5'9" and 325 pound woman, who looks as if she's 9 months pregnant but is not. I had already made the decision not to ride the new Everest attraction, but took the opportunity to sit in the sample car. Here's the deal: I had plenty of hip and shoulder room, but not one breath of belly room to spare. The bar would have 'clicked' one notch had I been in an operating vehicle, but I'm not sure how my belly would have fared on the ride. Bruised, most likely.

The lap bar on the sample car has a gauge that shows how far down the bar is. If your indicator line gets from the red area, past the black line, and into the green area you are assured your lap belt will get at least one click and you are safe. You may need to stand up and shimmy around, and take note that the cast members will not
assist you with the bar (so I was told by several cast members who came to see me not fit in the car LOL).

The sample cars are out of the way, and I did not feel put on the spot whatsoever. Try it out if you aren't sure!"

* I'm sure you'll fit fine on the Mummy ride, too. Just remember that particular ride is at Universal Studios, not Walt Disney World.

Have fun on your vacation with your daughter!
I'm sure you'll both be able to enjoy the attraction (it's amazing!)

you will fit on the Expedition Everest. I am 5'0" and weigh 250 lbs. and I was able to fit fine. I will warn you though that the backs are not comfortable. It has nothing to do with being large, my head kept bouncing off the hard back of the seat. I also will no longer ride Thunder Mountain Railroad in Magic Kingdom. It is not a very smooth roller coaster, and it kind of jarred my back out of whack.

Other than that, I ride EVERYTHING!!! Have a great time!! I will be going back Dec. 3rd!!!!

You will definitely fit in the Everest seats! I have a friend who is about 5'7" and over 350 lbs and he fit!
