I don't know if they're too good for the world or if the world is just too difficult for them. Honesty, sensitivity and creativity aren't always welcomed. The vast majority (who may pride themselves on social deception and insensitivity and who may not be terribly creative) may tear such people apart because they're different & don't fit in. Sometimes even when real creative sensitive people achieve acceptance & success in the world (artists, musicians etc), they still don't feel they quite belong in the world & this sense of alienation & loneliness can be unbearable. When you feel too much, life can be hard to bear. Sadly some of the most beautiful, talented people have left the world too soon because they found it too painful and wanted to escape.
I would like to think I am an honest, sensitive & creative person. I certainly don't think I'm too good for the world but I've often found it difficult being the way I am & felt the alienation of not fitting in. Luckily I've embraced my uniqueness & am proud to stand out rather than fit in. When I feel overwhelmed, when I feel too much & life seems too painful I use art & music as therapy for my angst. I don't hide from my feelings, I've never succumbed to alcohol or drug addictions to numb them (the mistake too many artists make.)

I'll have to make an assumption to answer this so I'm go with you are being sarcastic.... People who are too good for the world are generally very hurt people that were burdened with abuse or neglect or major unacceptable loss in life. For this reason even though they are feel extremely low they try to project a perfect lifestyle as they imagine it. Unfortunately they are not aware that even the bestest of lives lived on this earth are troubled occaisionly with heartache and loss so they have a hard time convincing anyone that their life is realistic.

What do you think of them? I'm confused by your question. I dont know if you're saying they're bad, or good. But anyways, I think those people are great. I say this because they're peaceful at mind, and at heart. They're able to see things that other cant. They see more then what's on the outside; they look more on whats on the inside. They get over differences, and they find beauty in everything in life and in nature. They also try and help others to see things through a brighter perspective.

The only two people that I know of like this were Enoch and Elijah. Neither of them died, God just took them away from the world. Other than that, I can not think of any examples of people that were "too good" Maybe Stephen was, but he was martyred, not taken away. Same with other martyrs. I don't think that they were "too good," but that might be the reason they were killed.

They have a role in this passion play too. They make impacts in the lives of those they interact with. Life without them would be lacking for the rest of us. Perhaps they are here to act as examples for the rest of us? That would be a pretty noble role, wouldn't it?

Those people are usually the happiest people because they have peace of mind and they search for what's important, even at high costs and sacrifices. They have that peace of mind that so many people look to drugs and alcohol to achieve. No peace can come without existential and abstract thought.

Those who are too good for the world mostly either die as children or even pre-birth. Those who make it past that point are very few and far between.

I just might be one of them, so I feel like ****. It is hard to watch the world do what it does and the only thing you can say to yourself is care less. I don't want to care less, so I am stuck in a very tight spot. As of where to go, well it depends what your belief system is.

One day the abbot Rennyo asked the master, Ikkyu, "I have heard that you are an enlightened being. Is it true?"
Ikkyu's answer: "I never did such mischief."
