I am 10 weeks pregnant, starting on my 11 week, and I have been sneezing like crazy. It started about oh 6 or 7 weeks. Normally I rarely sneeze and when I do, it is twice, rarely 3 times. But lately I will sneeze 6 times or more in a row! I don't have a cold, or allergies, and it isn't like my nose or eyes run when I sneeze. Did this happen to anyone else, or am I just unique?
PS. I can't ask my doctor until I see him again. I live in a remote little town in Mexico at the moment and their policies are different than in the states. I mean it isn't dangerous, but I am curious, it happens 4 or 5 times a day or more. I am really starting to wonder.

I have the exact same thing!! I'm 30 weeks and still sneeze a lot more than normal. I wonder if it's just an overstimulation in your body - caused by the additional hormones? something like that. I don't usually have allergies, but it seems that way.

It's not dangerous for the baby, they're so shielded from everything that goes on outside - especially so early on for you - I wouldn't worry at all.

Congrats!

i also started sneezing a lot more at 14 weeks. i read that as ur blood volume increases, the membranes (including those in ur nose/sinuses) swell. i thought that was whats making me sneeze bcos im not sick but my nose feels slightly stuffy and im sneezing multiple times throughout the day

It's normal. It's called round ligament pain and you might also notice it soon when you stand up to fast or roll over in bed. It should feel like you pulled a muscle but lets up after just a minute or two.

It IS from being pregnant. I never had allergies in my life , until I got pregnant with my oldest son. I've had them ever since. It isnt harmful , you can hold out til you see your doctor again. good luck

I don't know why this is happening to you but Sudafed is a safe med. to take while pregnant for this type of thing.

it could be a new allergy. i have not heard of this during pregnancy. probaly just your pregnancy making you sensitive to something you had not had previously.
congratulations on the baby

I'm sure this has absolutely nothing to do with you being pregnant! Find something that's triggering your nose...
