I have a 1997 Chevy Ventrure Mini Van.?

The temperature guage.. Isn't it supposed to be in the middle? Or not? Because it only seems to get a little bit off the "C" mark. If it were gas it would only be about 1/4 full.

It should be somewhere closer to the middle. You probably have a bad themostat.

or a defective temp sending unit
