My paramour is the biggest nerd in the world but he is my nerd and I love him. He is tall and skinny and his ears stick out but his soul is stronger than the biggest muscle stud out there, dont get me wrong he is hot for a skinny dude but I get a lot hotter for his soul than what I see on the outside. Love is not about sex it is about what is inside.

We are as much about the physical/sexual aspect as heterosexuals are. Of course the initial thing that attracts you is looks, that applies to everyone. But if you don't click in other ways, what good are looks? My partner has to be both mentally and physically stimulating to me.

Gay people are like everyone else. The only difference is sexual preference. Only creep heteros focus on the sexuality aspect of it, but sometimes people just want to have friends regardless if they are gay or straight.

Absolutely its NOT all about the physical/sexual aspects! I guess I'm blessed in that my sweetie has just about everything I could have possibly wanted in a partner. No, she's not perfect and we do have our moments but overall I'm so fortunate to have found someone that I mesh with and can live peacefully with.

In a long-term boyfriend, love and caring and friendship and a feeling that we belong together, whatever happens. Good in bed helps, too, but it's not the main thing - won't work out if the rest isn't there.
In a one-night stand, obviously the physical takes priority.
Which you rate highest depends on how much of a tramp you are! (Or I am - I didn't mean that to sound insulting to you!)

physical attraction plays a major role in ANY relationship where sex is involved. it's a darwinist theory.
smile, sense of humor and great intelligence (no comma cause you can't have the first without the second), open mindedness, and very sexual.
we have lots of sex. i'm not validating the claim that homos are only interested in sex. just look at any sort of media. it's all about sex and most of it is hetero. so to put that label on homos is like saying the ruination of marriage is our fault when as of yet we haven't been included in the right to marry.

I was guilty of thinking like that. But I assume that you look for the same things that heterosexuals look for. Good looks, personality, etc.

Homosexuals probably look for the same thing that heterosexuals look for in a partner.
