I hate day light savings time. It's a pain in the butt and when I moved here (to Indy) they didn't do that but then last year of course they had to change. It's weird because I am always ahead of Chicago where my family lives and still can't get used to the time difference of only an hour but it does make a difference.

It was done years ago by farmers whose kids had to help on the farm. They needed the time to do their work and get to and from school also. Check the Farmer's Almanac, too.

Its because farmers need to have their day set up this way with efficiently growing crops.
