The best foundations are mineral foundations. They look the most natural (as long as you don't use Bare Escentuals) and improve the quality of your skin...so you eventually need less makeup overall. I personally suggest Everyday Minerals. They have several different finishes to choose from, so if you like matte, dewy, or something in between, they can help. I ordered their free sample kit and immediately ordered a large kit after the first day. They also sell mini sizes of things and are inexpensive.

As one other lady said, I definetly recommend Mary Kay.

Mary Kay has 7 different types of foundation in all different shades that can meet the needs of any skin type. The trick to having a foundation that blends properly is to have own formulated to your skin, depending on how oily or dry you are. It is also important to always match it with the color of your neck and not your face. Your face gets more color and naturally is darker, so if you wear a foundation that is that color you are going to end up with the line below your chin.

For more help you can visit the website and even call me with any questions, as my number is on there.

Last, if you do want a makeover or skin care class, Mary Kay consultants provide this service for free. I am in the Las Vegas, NV area, but I would be happy to recommend someone in your area.

If you're going minerals, Philosophy Airbrush is the best. Followed by Bare Minerals (Escentuals)...I found everyday minerals colors to be great, but the actual powder itself was not long wearing as the other two.

Long wearing liquid foundation - colorstay by Revlon just can't be beat for the price and the wear.

I am currently trying Dermacia and do not care for the fact that it does nothing for oiliness the way the mineral makeups do...might have to pack it up and send it back.

I have tried every brand that you could think of. Everyday Minerals, Intensive Formula, is the best. This foundation is great in lasting on the skin; healing the skin; and minimizing skin problems, such as acne and wrinkles. Try everydayminerals.com. The company is so confident in its products that you can get samples for free.

My suggestion would be to have a Mary Kay facial. Our skincare, foundation and glamor products have been the the best for the last eleven years running. Our foundation is comparable with only one other popular line and it's price is $100.00. Our foundation is $14.00. I am a Mary Kay consultant; makeup and glamor is my specialty. You can do a search in your area for a consultant on-line at MaryKay.com. We also offer a 100% guarantee!!!

I find that the best foundation to use for senstivite or easil irritated skin like mine that you use Dream Matte Whip Foundation by L'Oreal Paris. This product is non-oil based, light, and blends into your skin to match your complexsion.

Bare Escentuals/Bare mineral is the best foundation. Been using it for years and love it. my skin is very oily around the T-zone area and i found Smashbox Photo Primer works wonder. i put the primer first and then bare minerals and my make up looks great and last all day.

Well, your skin will tell you. So unfortunately you just have to try things out. What work for some, may not work for others. I had a friend that told me not to use Mac because she broke out and it made her face look horrible.....well Mac has never done anything to my face, so her skin reacted differently. I prefer to use a combo - Mac Blot powder and The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Compressed powder. These two work great for me because I have oily sensitive skin. Other products like Cover Girl has broken me out. So try different ones to see what your skin likes.
