I have a 2002 GMC Envoy with over 109,000 miles on it. I have to replace a bushing and also get my rough idle fixed.

The bushing is something that goes out every 20-30k miles and makes a squeeling noise when I come to a hard brake on cool mornings, and of course the idle is only rough when the car starts so it's not that much of a pain.

Unfortunately, I only have enough money to do one at a time.

So what I need to know is which one needs to be replaced first and why so I can do the most important one first.

Thanks in advance!

Where is the bushing located? In the braking system?

Anything to do with the brake system, I would repair first.

My dad always said: "IF you can't stop it, you best not start it".

Good luck. Pops

There are about 6,000 bushings in a vehicle.
